Finally, successful casts of this tiny lady. I went with Weiju this time and they pulled through (about five months from me sending off my prototype to receiving sample casts.) Some basic stats: Height: 14cm Wig: 2" 18 points of articulation. WIP photos can be found here. Also, about a month ago I sent my 1/12 doll Iphigenia away to Weiju to be molded and cast by them. They say they will send out my two sample dolls by the end of July, but you know how these things are, they rarely go according to plan. Robust Casting, by the by, was a complete flop. But with the help of the incredibly generous BJD community I managed to recoup my losses by selling garage kits, and have now determined to start afresh.  So look out for a preorder on her when the samples arrive. I had an account here a long time ago, but I deleted it somewhere along the way out of sheer embarrassment. I'm back now with different work and a different media, but now somewhat less embarrassed. I find that if I can look at my work from 6 months ago and not wince immediately, I'm in a good art place. I make ball-jointed dolls mostly, now. One day I hope to have my own company and lines of differently-sized dolls. I have a ton of prototypes ready to take off into the resin world, but I need buyers to back me and to make it possible for my dolls to be cast at all! With that in mind, I'm very soon opening pre-orders for my most recent 14cm
